Our Story
Bespoke Barbershop was founded in 2020 by Gerry Girvan & Jordan Russell. A coming together of talented individuals who wanted to use barbering as a medium for life.. Creating something different, something new that would stand out to our clientele, something Bespoke…
With over 10 years as a barber & 5 years as a business owner Co. Founder & Director Gerry was confident the Bespoke brand would have what it takes to stamp our mark on the barbering scene in Belfast.
“ I opened my first barbershop business at age 18 “MG Male Hair” & knew the areas we could improve in order to bring things to the next level when we opened Bespoke. Ive always wanted to keep improving and innovating my own ability in barbering throughout my entire time in the industry. Pushing the Bespoke Barbershop brand as Co. Director was going to be no different.
Employing like-minded staff who wanted to further themselves as people and in the industry was crucial. We have to love what we do. We’re passionate about barbering & our customers, to be a part of this journey to work with these talented people daily is the gift that keeps on giving. Who knows what the future holds for us, the only way is up.“
“After standing behind the chair for 4 years i decided it was time to open up my own business. A new beginning & owning a barbershop was always my main goal.
Upon opening our first shop on Westland Road I was blown away by the support we had received by not just friends/ family but even strangers I have never met. It was a great feeling & we’ve never looked back since.
Fast foward two years & we’ve branched out to opening our 2nd barbershop in Glengormley with a brand new team. We have came a long way in such a short space of time & I couldn’t be happier with our progress. The feeling is surreal.”
